The Bridging English Program is designed for international students at Jilin University who are not proficient enough in English. The program aims at enhancing the students’ English language proficiency, helping shorten the adjustment period while studying in China, and helping prepare the international students for entry onto a JLU undergraduate program. The courses are designed by the highly qualified and experienced faculty team of the School of Foreign Language Education (SOFLE) at JLU. The program covers general English courses and academic English courses in order to effectively develop students’ knowledge and fluency in English, reinforce the academic skills and enhance their overall learning competence. The enrollment of this program is carried out by the College of International Education (CIE) and the courses are offered by SOFLE. Upon successful completion of the program, students will get the Certificate of Completion issuedby SOFLE.
