MinnanNormalUniversity(hereinafterreferredtoasMNNU)islocatedinZhangzhou，awell-knowncitywhichisalsocalled“TheSipsongpanna(afamoustourdestinationinChina)inSouthernpartofFujianProvince”.OntheothersideofTaiwanStrait,ZhangzhoubordersthecityofXiamen.ItisafamousancestralhomeformanyFujianandTaiwanOverseasChineseandalotofthemcomebacktoseektheirancestralroots.Owingtothesubtropicalclimate,Zhangzhouenjoysbeautifulsceneryandearnsthereputationof“LandofFlowers,Fruits,FishandRice”.Withalonghistory,manyhistoricfiguresandsites,thecityisrichintourismresources.InZhangzhou,onewillbeimpressedbythelocalcuisineandcanalsofindforeign-styleexoticbarsandWestern,KoreanandJapaneserestaurants.ForeignerswhoworkandstudyherethinkthatZhangzhouisoneofthesafestandmostpleasantlivablecitiesofinChinatolivein.

II.Scholarships

III.MedicalInsurance

AllinternationalstudentsarerequiredtopayformedicalinsuranceduringtheirstudyinMNNU.Thosewhodon’tpurchaseinsuranceaccordingtotherequirementscannotregisterattheuniversity.
